The Indian rupee will soon have a unique symbol — a blend of the Devanagri 'Ra' and Roman 'R' — joining elite currencies like the US dollar, euro, British pound and Japanese yen in having a distinct identity. 

PSLV proved it again .The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C-15 carrying remote sensing Cartosat-2B along with four satellites blasted off from the spaceport near here on Monday morning...  

PSLV-C15 is the 17th flight of  ISRO's versatile Polar Satellite launch vehicle, PSLV. In this PSLV will place the 694 kg CARTOSAT-2B and four auxiliary payloads in a 630 km polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO) . ISRO recently announced that the schedule launch of PSLV-C15 will be on 12th july. ..

Bill Gates must have been thinking that why Windows latest version wasn't beennamed  windows 8 or 10 -  as microsoft says officially that Windows '7' sells '7' copies per second (hope you got the pun I am trying to make ) .

In a official windows blog post it was announced that Windows 7 has sold 150 million licenses to-date which works out to be seven per second.Windows 7 is by far the “fastest selling operating system in history,” according to Microsoft. Microsoft estimates that 75 percent of enterprises are currently evaluating Windows 7. Any guesses on how fast we get to 300 million copies sold?

NASA-funded scientists estimate from recent research that the volume of water molecules locked inside minerals in the moon’s interior could exceed the amount of water in the Great Lakes here on Earth.

Scientists at the Carnegie Institution’s Geophysical Laboratory in Washington, along with other scientists across US , determined that the water was likely present very early in the moon’s formation history as hot magma started to cool and crystallize.
