If you are into buying and selling of Stocks to make profit, the foremost thing you require is to pick up the right choice. I am sharing herewith an helpful tool .

As my wife, wanted to jump into Stock trading, she sought my help in picking up the right stock.

First thing, I have made a Google spreadsheet using Google Finance function to make a target stock list. You can find details - > here. Now to make a list, we should filter the stock. Let us suppose I want to pick up stocks whose Market capitalization is more than 1000 crores or stocks which is paying more than 7 % dividend. I searched Google for filtering of stocks. After few hiccups, I came to know that they are called Screens. Some DEMAT account providers give various Stock Screen options inbuilt. But I wanted a more simplistic approach. Then I came across - > https://www.screener.in.

It provides you various inbuilt screen options like - Golden Crossover (when 50 DMA crosses 200 DMA from below)- https://www.screener.in/screens/336509/Golden-Crossover/ and various other options -> https://www.screener.in/explore/ . If you are like me , who don't want to follow Screening created by somebody else, you can make your own screen. For making a Screen you have to create an account with them. Basic version is free. And I find basic version itself very elaborate. They have some premium features , which I am not expert enough to venture.

Now coming back to create your own screen, see their guide -> https://www.screener.in/guides/creating-screens/

Their layout is simple and functional just like a Google search engine and it appeals to me alot. You can use various parameters like PAT, PE ratio, EPS, PEG ratio and many more. See the below animated GIF to see how to create a Query.

Once you are through , you can create your own watchlist and you can add all the ratios you want to be displayed which I find very helpful.

Experiment with various screens and pick up your right stocks at the earliest.

If you have any queries feel free to ask, I will try to help to the extent of my expertise.
